Mr. Milton Edward Raines, Jr., of 112 Dorothy Drive, Millledgeville, Georgia passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Victory Baptist Church, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment was held in Heritage Memorial Park, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Mr. Milton Edward Raines, Jr., affectionately known as Buster, departed this earthly life on Friday, April 12, 2019 at his residence.
Buster was born to the parentage of Mr. Milton Edward Raines, Sr. and Mrs. Edna Smith Raines on December 21, 1978 in Milledgeville, Georgia.
Buster attended school in Baldwin County, and graduated from the Baldwin County High School in 1998. Buster had an adventurous spirit, and traveled around the United States, making his home in Washington State before returning home to Milledgeville, Georgia. Buster was curious, oftentimes fearless, and he loved joking and making people laugh. He had an infectious smile.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mr. George Raines and Mrs. Mozell Raines; and maternal grandparents, Rev. Hilton & Mrs. Annie Laura Smith.
Buster is survived by his parents, Mr. Milton and Mrs. Edna Smith Raines, Milledgeville, Georgia; four uncles: Mr. Coleman (Catherine) Smith, Conyers, Georgia, Mr. Hilton (Louise) Smith, Jr., Cumming, Georgia, Mr. Johnny (Tina) Ivey, Dublin, Georgia, Mr. Gentle (Claudia) Raines; eight aunts: Mrs. Margaret S. Hunter, Mrs. Joyce S. Castleberry, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Barbara (Johnny) Hilson, Milledgeville, Georgia, Mrs. Linda (Arthur) Washington, Sumter, South Carolina, Mrs. Renee (George) Taylor, Lithonia, Georgia, Susie Mae Lucas of Thomaston, Georgia, Palmer Lee Jordan, Mrs. Johnnie (Lenward) Reeves of Detroit, Michigan. Two devoted cousins, Mrs. Melba H. Butts and Kristie H. Cearnal, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
