Ms. Mamie Roberson, of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Navicent Health Baldwin, Milledgeville.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Second Beulah Baptist Church, Sparta, Georgia. Interment will be held in Hickory Cemetery, Sparta, Georgia.

Mamie Kate Roberson was born March 29, 1952 in Sparta, Georgia to the parentage of the Late Arthur Roberson and Lucy M. Marshall Roberson. She educated in the public schools of Hancock County and was a member of Second Beulah Baptist Church.

She was joined in holy matrimony to the Late Emmitt Williams and with this union she was blessed with four children.

On Sunday, April 14 , 2019, our beloved Mamie Kate was called home leaving a legacy of love, humanity and service to her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son Lewis Williams and sister, Helen Roberson.

Left to mourn her legacy, one son; Bobby Williams of Milledgeville, Ga; two daughters, Mary Ann Williams, Milledgeville, Ga and Emmy Williams, Florida; a devoted companion, Charlie Justice, Milledgeville, Ga; six sisters, Susie M. Lundy and Willie Dee Roberson, Milledgeville, Ga, Jeanette Roberson, Mildred (Mathew) Taylor and Lorene (Tommie Sr.) Holsey of Sparta, Ga, Mary L. Cox, Maryland; one brother, David (Ellen) Robeson, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; one uncle Brown Marshall Jr., Sparta, Ga.; two aunts Elizabeth Roberson and Evelyn Marshall, Sparta, Ga.
