Ms. Mable Foster, of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Thursday November 21, 2019 in Milledgeville, Georgia.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM from the Second Darien Baptist Church, Linton Road, Sparta, Georgia. Interment will be held in the Hickory Cemetery.
On November 21, 2019 Mable Tatus Foster was called home to rest after 81 years of life. She was born March 18, 1938 to the “late” Charlie Tatum and Corine Stevens Tatum of Milledgeville, GA.
Mable attended school in Baldwin County. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family and friends. She loved to cook and feed everyone. She had a kind heart and a smile on her face all the time. She never met a stranger, she always invited people into her home and would help any way she could.
She enjoyed fishing; she was a faithful member at Second Darien Baptist Church, where she served as an usher. She enjoyed her duties as an usher until her health declined.
Mable at an early age, married the late David Foster. She was the mother of seven children, two of whom preceded her in death, the late Randy Foster and Bernice Foster of Milledgeville.
She is survived by two sons: Mr. Donald Foster and Mr. Michael Foster, of Milledgeville; three daughters: Mrs. Mary Barnes, Ms. Debra Simpson, and Ms. Gloria Foster,of Milledgeville, GA; one sister, Evangelist Sharon (Curtis) Ingram; eleven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, two great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
