Mr. Leroy "Red" Hill, Sr. Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Piedmont Hospital, Conyers, Georgia.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 1:00 PM from the County Line Baptist Church, Haddock, Georgia. Interment followed in the Hill Family Cemetery, Haddock, Georgia.
Leroy Hill, Sr. affectionately known as “Red” was born on May 13, 1947 to the parentage of the late Willie Hill, Jr. and the late Dora Andrews Hill, who preceded him in death. Red was also preceded in death by his sister Brenda Hill Foston. At an early age County Line Baptist Church became his church home.
He graduated from J.F. Boddie High School in 1964. After graduation, he joined the Air Force where he received an honorable discharged and later attended Fort Valley State College. Following college, Leroy pursued his loved for entrepreneurship, he was the owner and operator of Hill's Towing service, H&H Automotive Shop and Hill's Sports Bar. His hobbies were going to football games, racing cars and motorcycle riding. He also was a dedicated member of the Milledgeville Cruisers Bike Club. He was a very dedicated father.
He will always be cherished by his devoted children: Mrs. Shun (Erick) Hill-Moore, Lizella, GA, Ms. Porsche Hill, Conyers, GA, Mr. Leroy Hill, Jr., Mr. Carson Hill, Conyers, GA; three brothers: Mr. Willie (Barbara) Hill, III, Mr. Kenneth (Deborah) Hill, Mr. Roger Victor (Bernestine) Hill, Milledgeville, GA; three sisters: Mrs. Shirley (Eddie) Robinson, Milledgeville, GA, Mrs. Rose (Hollis) Smith, Smyrna, TN, Mrs. Pamela (Edward) Arnold, Milledgeville, GA; a host of other relatives and friends.
