LaMarcus Cornelius Brown

Mr. LaMarcus "Marc" Brown, of 178 Frazier Drive, Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 1:00 PM from the Northridge Christian Church, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment followed in Scenic Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Mr. LaMarcus Brown was born in Milledgeville, GA, on April 9, 1992 to Lamar “Marc” Brown and Patricia Scott. Because of the strong resemblance of his father, LaMarcus was also known as “Marc Brown”.

As a child, LaMarcus attended El Bethel Baptist Church where he participated in both Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. LaMarcus was educated in the Baldwin County School System. He graduated with the class of 2011. During his time at Baldwin High School, he was a tri-athlete, participating and excelling in track, football and basketball. He was known as “Downton Brown” due to his amazing speed. He was proclaimed as one of the fastest kids in Baldwin County. After High School, he attended Georgia Military College and majored in Business. He was determined to be successful, so much so that green was his favorite color due to his love of making money. LaMarcus was a friendly young man whose laugher was loud and contagious. He enjoyed making others laugh and took very few things seriously, for he knew that laughter was medicine for the soul. He was a devoted father who loved and adored his children.

On Friday, September 13, 2019, LaMarcus transitioned to his heavenly home. His memory shall forever live in the hearts of those left behind. LaMarcus is proceeded in death by his paternal grandfather, David Brown. LaMarcus is survived by his two adorable children, Hazionna M. Brown and LaMarcus C. Brown, Jr., both of Milledgeville, GA; his loving parents, Lamar Brown Jr. and Patricia Scott, both of Milledgeville, GA; his paternal grandmother, Katherine T. Brown and his maternal grandmother, Evia Lue Scott, both of Milledgeville, GA. He is also survived by his siblings: Lamar Brown, III, Angel Brown, and Kennedi Stephens, all of Milledgeville, GA; three aunts: Kathy Scott, of Milledgeville, GA, Jaqueline Williams, of Macon, GA, and Vickey Larkin, of Atlanta, GA; three uncles: Eric C. Brown, Jay C. Scott, and James Brown, all of Milledgeville, GA; three nieces: Zaniya A. Brown, Serenity M. Hooks, and Hannah C. Coats, all of Milledgeville, GA; one nephew, Josiah E. Brown of Milledgeville, GA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
