Mr. Kent Bly, of 279 Lewis Court, Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at his residence.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of All Faiths, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment followed in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Mr. Kent Erwin Bly was born in Milledgeville, Georgia on June 27, 1962 to the late Annie Fozzie Stubbs Curry and Roger Bly, Sr.
He attended the public schools of Baldwin County and graduated from Baldwin High School with the class of 1980. He was employed at Rheem Manufactory for twentyseven years and Trojan Battery for two years until his health declined.
He was united in Holy Matrimony to Mrs. Cynthia Williams Bly in 2007. He was blessed with three children. At an early age, Kent joined Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Milledgeville, Georgia.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife, Cynthia Williams Bly, his children: Mequonna N. Bly (Derell), Sharita J. Patterson, Jarvis D. Hall (Quanedria); grandchildren: Da'Marcus, Jar'Tavious, Damarion, Mckenzie; sisters: Mary Bly, of Eatonton, GA, Gail B. Chapman (Dennis), of Lagrange, GA, Serena B. Porter (Sherman), of Boston, Tammy Taylor, of Milledgeville, GA; brothers: Timothy Canty, Wendell Bly (Tabitha), both of Milledgeville, GA, Jerry Bly, Roger Bly, Jr., both of Boston; brothersn-law: Oscar Butts, Jr. (Janice), Roosevelt Williams, Jr. (Sylvia), both of Milledgeville, GA; maternal uncles: James Stubbs, Ernest Stubbs, both of Miami, FL, Paul Stubbs (Betty), Macon, GA, maternal aunts: Ella Davis, Yvonne Johnson, Verna Myrick, all of Milledgeville, GA, Marion Brown, of Gordon, GA; paternal uncle: ; paternal aunts: Rose (Sam), Gennevie (Teollie), Linda, all of Boston, MA, Mary (Siscro), of Dermott, AR; devoted friends: Darrel Jones, Anthony Parks, Renny Sams, Nelson Hill; several other relatives and friends.
