Jezebel Jones

Mr. Jezebel Jones, of Atlanta, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 12 NOON from the Stanton Grove Baptist Church, Hwy 22 Sparta, Georgia. Interment was held in Pearson Chapel Church Cemetery, Sparta, Georgia.

Mr. Jezebell Jones, known to his famiy as "Bone" was born on June 1951 in Sparta, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Robert and Mrs. Neive Jones. Jezebell received his education at Hancock Central High School. Upon finishing high school, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he resided until his passing.

After moving to Atlanta, he pursued a career as a master carpenter and becoming an entrepreneur owning his business called Jones Home Improvement. He also had a passion for helping his close friend, Shirley, at the Cornbread Factory. He talked about the factory all the time. He had a humorous spirit where he always laughed and joked with others. Jezebell was preceded in death by brothers: Kevin, Albert, Andrew, and Robert, Jr.

On Tuesday night, August 7, 2018, our beloved father, brother, and grandfather was called to rest.

His memories will be cherished by his two daughters: Mrs. Stephanie (Princeton) Love, of Fairburn, GA, Mrs. Carmen (Julian) Villalobos, of East Point, GA; four sisters: Mrs. Maggie (Edward) Turner, Ms. Roseatta Turner, Atlanta, GA, Ms. Irone Lewis, of Milledgeville, GA, Mrs. Priscilla Diane (Sammie) Morris, of Sparta, GA, three brothers: Mr. Royal (Willie Gay) Jones, of Stockbridge, GA, Mr. Freddie (Willie Mae) Jones, Mr. Donald (Vickie) Jones, of Milledgeville, GA; aunt, Ms. Roberta Jones, of Sparta, GA; five grandchildren: Ms. Chasity Kimbrough, Mr. Terrance Love, Mr. Johnathan Gracia, Ms. Nathalie, Ms. Noah Villalobos, all of Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, several other relatives and friends.
