James Myrick, Sr

Mr. James Myrick, Sr., of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at Coliseum Medical Center, Macon, Georgia.

Funeral services were be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 1:00 PM from the Bible Revival Church, 101 Deerwood Drive SW, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment was held in the Riverview Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.

James Myrick, Sr. was born on November 3,, 1949 in Milledgeville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Ambrose Myrick, Sr. and Catherlene Dixon-Myrick.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Mr. David Myrick, Sr. and one grandson, Noah James Myrick, of Milledgeville.James attended Boddie High School and was a retired employee of Central state Hospital.

He is survived by three sons: James Myrick, Jr., Travis Myrick, Jarvis Myrick; two daughters: Betty Myrick, Ariel Phelps, all of Milledgeville, GA; loving sister, Betty Jean Cooper, of Milledgeville, GA; a devoted brother, Ambrose Myrick, Jr., of Milledgeville, GA; a sister-n-law, Mrs. Sandra Myrick, of Gordon, GA. He has three grandchildren, Maliyah Smith, Kamelia and Javion Phelps, also of Milledgville, GA; two devoted nieces: Teresa Taylor, Asha Taylor, of Irwinton, GA; a host of other family and friends that will miss him dearly.
