James Gregory Andrews

Mr. James Andrews, of 2997 Martin Drive,  Atlanta, Georgia passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 12:00 NOON from the St Mary Baptist Church, Sparta, Georgia. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

James Gregory Andrews also known as "Red", was born on April 11, 1959 in Hancock County, Georgia to the parentage of Dea. B.J. and the late Mrs. Evelyn Andrews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Mr. B.J., Jr.

Gregory was devoted to his family and friends. He attended Hancock and Baldwin County Schools. He joined St. Mary Baptist Church at an early age. After high school, he enlisted to the Army to serve his country. After his honorable discharge, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia to continue his education at Mercer University. He received his Bachelor's Degree, then later pursued his Master's Degree, only having one quarter left to finish.

He was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 13, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving companion, Ms. Tanj Kiles; his father, Dea. B.J. Andrews; four brothers: Mr. John (Emma) Andrews, of Ellenwood, GA, Mr. Wilson (Geraldine) Andrews of Milledgeville, GA, Mr. Ronnie (Deanise) Andrews, of Gray GA, Mr. Jerome Davis, of Sparta, GA; four sisters: Ms. Marie Bonner, Mrs. Edna (Frank) Forney, Ms. Betty Jackson, all of Milledgeville, GA, Ms. Barbara Warren, of Atlanta, GA; one sister-n-law, Ms. Vonda Andrews, of Milledgeville, GA; aunts and uncles: Ms. Bessie Lewis, ms. Dorothy Flagg, Ms. Mattie Rivers, Ms. Irene Brown, Ms. Lois Trawick, Ms. Edna Daughtry, Mr. and Mrs. Roger and Catherine Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Elijah and Eula Goodman; a host of nieces, nephews, several other relatives and friends.
