Mrs. Frances C. Williams, of 148 Felton Drive SW, Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Navicent Health Baldwin.
On March 22, 2019 our beloved Frances entered into rest.
Frances was born October 1, 1952 in Milledgeville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. JC Hitchcock and Mrs. Ceres Myrick Hitchcock. At a young age she joined the Rock Mill Baptist Church.
Frances was a graduate of Boddie High School in the year of 1970. She was voted best dressed and participated in several activities while in school, for example being part of the basketball team and was a member of the well-known Boddie High Rattlers High Stepping Majorettes.
In 1970 she married her first husband, Mr. Ocie Lee Choice. To this union two daughters were born: Shonda Juanise Choice and Melissa Choice.
Frances enjoyed several hobbies, sewing, upholstery and a variety of crafting skills. She loved spending time with family and friends. Her smile and laughter will be missed by all. She was well known by many as a caring individual with a loving heart.
She was an employee of the Mohawk Industries for 29 years. As a result of major surgery, she retired in the year of 2005.
In 1999 Frances joined hands and heart with Johnnie Williams, Jr. in Holy Matrimony. Through prayer, faith, love, and devotion Frances and Johnnie shared 20 years of marriage.
Frances leaves cherished memories to her loving husband: Mr. Johnny Williams, Jr. of Milledgeville, Georgia; two children: Shonda Juanise Thomas (Johnny Eugene) of Macon, Georgia and Melissa Yvette Stewart of Milledgeville, Georgia; two step-children: Denarrious King of Milledgeville, Georgia and Yavonda Butts (Reggie) of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister: Lois Marshall of Milledgeville, Georgia; one brother, Willie Hitchcock (Linda) of Eaton, Georgia; mother-in-law: Myrtle Williams of Milledgeville; Sisters-in-law: Ella Hitchcock, Jean Fraley, Laurie Fleming (Al) of Milledgeville, Georgia, and Katrina Simmons of Tennessee; two brothers-in-law, Tommy Williams (Romana) and Emory Austin (Carrie) of Milledgeville, Georgia; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; Frances was preceded in death by her loving siblings: Arrie Todd (Sammie) of Tampa, Florida, Barbara Jackson, Marian Holsey (James), and JC Hitchcock, all of Milledgeville Georgia.
The family is receiving friends at the residence.
