Emory "Buck" Bonner

Mr. Emory Bonner "Buck", of 344 Harrisburg Road Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Monday April, 26, 2019 at Pine Pointe Hospice in Macon, Georgia.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at 12:00 NOON from the Oak Grove Baptist Church, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Deacon Emory “Buck” Bonner passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019 at Pine Pointe Hospice Center, Macon, Georgia at the age of 77. Buck was born on May 6, 1941 in Milledgeville, GA to the late Iverson & Mary Bonner.

He had two brothers, Albert Bonner & Iverson Bonner II that preceded him in death.

Buck attended the public schools of Baldwin County. He was a truck driver in New York for many years. After retiring to Georgia, he was a vehicle operator at CSH.

Buck is survived by his wife Joann Bonner. Buck had nine children, Buck, Jr, Evette, Lavette, Patricia & Iverson Bonner III, Janice Coates, Elnora Brown, Cora Fraley and Felicia Willis; three sisters-in-law, Ethel Mae Putterway of Toledo, OH, Emily Brown of Gordon, GA, Pearlie Mae Burney of Gordon, GA; 14 grand kids; 17 great grand kids; siblings, Mary Louise Paxton, Doris Williams (Sylvester) of Jamaica, NY, Rev. Henry Bonner (Kathy) of Saint Paul, Minn., Andrew Bonner (Lillie Mae), Griffen Bonner (Rose) and Chiquita Davis (Rodney) of Milledgeville, GA.

Buck was a man of strong faith. He served on the deacon board of Oak Grove Baptist Church until his health declined.
