Dea. David Wells

Deacon David Wells, of 330 West Walton Street, Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at Navicent Health Baldwin.

Funeral services were held on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM from Saint Mary's Missionary Baptist Church, 994 Sparta Highway 22, Sparta, Georgia. Interment was held in Bone Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Our beloved Dea. David Wells was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 30, 2018.

Dea. Wells was born on March 4, 1929 in Milledgeville, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mr. Willie Wells and the late Mrs. Hattie Wells.

In his early childhood, his Christian Foundation was established at Spring Hill Baptist Church. He later joined the Saint Mary's Missionary Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon. He enjoyed laboring in ministry and worked with both Deacons board.

Dea. Wells was employed by many employers such as, Griffin Pipe, Brick Yard of Gordon, Georgia, and later retired from McGraw Industries.

He was preceded in death by one stepson, Mr. Albert Hill.

Our beloved Dea.. Wells leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved wife of thirty years, Mrs. Mary Leveta Davis Hill Wells; six step-children: Mr. Jeffery (Minnie) Hill, Sr,, Mrs. Christine (Harold) Williams, Mr. Oscar Lee (Ruby) Hill, Mr. Homer (Carolyn) Hill, Mr. Charles James (Anita) Hill, Sr., Mr. Tommy (Sia) Hill, all of Milledgeville, GA; one sister-n-law, Ms. Clara M. Davis; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
