Charles Waller

Mr. Charles Waller entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Navicent Health Macon, Georgia.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel of Slater’s Funeral Home, Inc. Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment was held in the Wood Place Cemetery, Eatonton, Georgia.

Mr. Charles Eugene Waller was born June 30, 1952 in Putman County, Georgia to the late Mr. Sidney McCoy Waller, Sr. and the late Mrs. Nora Mae Lewis.

Mr. Waller enjoyed serving his community as he worked with the Putnam County Public Works as a sanitation worker. He was known throughout his community and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Waller was very crafty. He enjoyed carving wood, creating fine walking canes and other wooden sculptures. During his spare time he loved to watch Westerns on TV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother: Mr. Jimmy Lee Waller, one sister: Ms. Mary Waller.

He leaves to cherish his memory five brothers: Mr. Sidney McCoy Waller, Jr., Atlanta, GA, Mr. Fleming Waller, Mr. Michael Waller, Eatonton, GA, Mr. David Waller, Florida, Mr. Calvin (Patrena) Waller, Sparta, GA;  three sisters: Ms. Lula Mae Waller Odum, Monticello, GA, Ms. Dorothy Harris, Gray, GA, Ms. Margaret Sanford, Atlanta, GA; two aunts: Mrs. Minnie Mae Ingram and Mrs. Verda Mae Lewis, Eatonton, GA; his companion: Ms. Jeanette Davis, Eatonton, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
