Carl James

Mr. Carl James, of Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Pine Pointe Peake Hospice Care, Macon, Georgia.

Funeral services were held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the Second Macedonia Baptist Church, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment was held in Bland Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.

Mr. Carl Vernon James was born November 05, 1953 to the late Mrs. Mary Ida Clark. His education was obtained in the Baldwin County School System. He joined Second Macedonia Baptist Church at an early age. He was employed at Central State Hospital as a faithful supervisor until he retired. His life was centered around his family and friends, that he loved and cherished dearly. He was a very caring and trusting person. Carl had a soft and loving heart that touched so many people. To know him was to love him. He left a loving legacy to many. Carl was known to so many by his nickname "Boom Boom".

On Saturday, August 11, 2018 our love one entered into eternal rest. As we gather our memories of our loved one who was taken from us too soon. We released him with sadness in our heart and tears in our eyes to the only true loving God our Father. We will forever be blessed, because God choose to touch our heart and lives with such a loving spirit and soul.

Our lives will never be the same without you. You left such a loving impact and memory in each life you touched. We miss you so much, be we know you had to go. Your family love you so much, but God loved you best. So go on and take your rest. We will try to be strong for you, and we'll cherish the memories of your smile. You taught us so much and we could never forget the values you instilled in us. Your are forever in our heart.

His memory and love will be forever cherished by his grandchildren, Myles and Riley Dennis, whom he loved dearly; four sisters: Mrs. Mattie Anderson, Ms. Cynthia Clark, Mrs. Gennetta Summers (Conrad), Delia Clark, all of Milledgeville, GA; two brothers: Mr. Bennie Clark (Louise), Jr., of Sparta, GA, Mr. Sammy Clark (Joann), of Gordon, GA; a devoted nephew, Mr. Sherrod Roberson; devoted friends: Mr. Jewell Milner, Ms. Julie Robertson, Mr. Joe Thompkins; two devoted neighbors: Ms. Snow and Mr. Farmer; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
