Mrs. Annie Marshall, of Milledgeville, Georgia entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Green Acres Health and Rehab, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 1:00 PM from Shiloh Baptist Church, 204 Harrisburg Road SW, Milledgeville, Georgia. Interment was held in Scenic Memorial Gardens, Milledgeville, Georgia.
Mrs. Annie Louise Marshall, the daughter of the late Herman Waller, Sr. and Lillie Mae Johnson Waller was born on April 30, 1938. Annie was affectionally called Eves by family and close friends.
Annie transitioned from her earthly home on January 7, 2019 whiled residing in Green Acres Nursing & Rehabilitation Home.
Annie attended the public schools of Baldwin County. She graduated from Carver High School in 1955. Annie remained close to the classmates of 1955 and traveled frequently on trips far and beyond.
She knew as a youth, she needed a church home and a relationship with her heavenly father. Thus, at the age of 9, she joined Shiloh Baptist Church and remained a faithful member until her health declined.
Annie was a dedicated and faithful employee of Central State Hospital for 30 years. In addition, she was employed as a substitute teacher with the Baldwin County School System.
Annie was blessed with two sons, the late Alan Bernard Marshall (Maxine Latrell) and Dwain Terrence (Sheila) Marshall.
Annie was preceded in death by her oldest son, Alan Bernard Marshall; mother, Lillie Mae Waller; father, Herman Waller, Sr.; brother, Herman Waller, Jr.; sister, Rita Waller Taylor; and brother-in-law, Ernest Butts.
Annie's memories will be forever cherished by the following: son, Dwain Marshall (Sheila); daughter-in-law, Maxine Latrell Marshall; grandchildren, Nakia Marshall, Anita Marshall, Xavier Marshall, Jordyn Powers; great grandchildren, Cameron Alan Marshall; sister, Ernestine Butts; brothers, Jerome Waller (Gayle), and Shannon Waller (Jechell); brother-in-law, Henry Taylor; devoted sister-in-law, Betty Waller of Chicago, IL; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
