Alton Devereaux

Mr. Alton Devereaux, of 1674 Cardinal Road, Milledgeville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at his residence.

Memorial services were held on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 3:30 PM from the Griffin Memorial Chapel of Slater’s Funeral Home.

Alton Bernard “B-13” Devereaux, Sr. 55, quietly departed this life with family by his side on Sunday, February 3, 2019. He was born December 17, 1963, in Milledgeville, Ga. To Frank and Mary Ann (Bishop) Devereaux.

He attended the public schools of Baldwin County. Alton enjoyed art, mingling with others, and performing odd jobs as a handyman. He was a loving father, brother, a son who lived his life with purpose and meaning until his final days. Because of his generous spirit and pleasant personality, he was loved by many.

Alton beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of parents: Frank and Mary Ann Devereaux, (2) Sisters: Vernell (Devereaux) Warren, Angel (Devereaux) Bridges, (2) Brothers: Darrin Bishop, Victor Devereaux, (2) Half Brothers: Kenny Devereaux, Patrick Devereaux, (1) Half Sister: Renee Devereaux (1) Son: Alton Devereaux, Jr., (2) Brother-in-Laws: Arthur Warren, Tyrone Bridges, (2) Sisterin-Laws: Carolyn (Young) Devereaux, Edith Bishop, and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins, and friends
